They say never work with kids, well after my first official shoot with 2 brothers (10 and 6) at the start of this year I'd definitely do it again.

The shoot was in February at Cannon Hall so I had lots planned to keep them active and warm. The trick with photographing kids is to NOT tell them to stand and pose. Just let them be kids.

There was a small playground there so we played on the swings, ran around, let the boys be boys and after all their energy was spent, got them to strike some poses for fun with Mum behind me pulling faces at them and making them laugh.

Everyone had a great time, including Mum who then booked me for a Family shoot for her Dad's 70th.
