Married in a cave. Nat & Cass, The Rowantree, Edinburgh, 29th May 2016I first met Nat & Cass at a new years eve party 2 years before their wedding and thankfully after many rum and cokes, they still thought I'd be a good option a year later when they booked me. Their venue couldn't have been any more romantic. Set in the heart of Edinburgh, The Rowantree (or The Caves as it known) is part of The Unusual Venues. Lit with not much more than candles and a few coloured LEDs, it was possibly one of the hardest weddings I've had to photograph. The day was perfect though, the 3 days it's sunny in Scotland and their wedding day was one of them. As the venue wasn't the most ideal place for well lit romantic couple shots, we took a walk up The Royal Mile, which was a little surreal as most of the tourists seemed to enjoy taking photos of the newly weds. The day was perfectly ended with one of the best wedding bands I've seen, The Kicks. Here are some of my favourites.
