Hello! And welcome to Matt Thompson Photography's year in review!

This year has been one of the best, most bizarre, fun years for me.
Technically it's my second year in business, but for me, this is my first real year. The year I photographed weddings where couples booked me for my style, the year my amazing supportive wife took an unofficial role in the running of things (basically she became the boss) and the year I also got a second furry assistant. If you call pawing the screen and pressing all the keys on the keyboard assisting.

I decided it was time to go back to the class room too and signed up to The Hangout workshop. Ran by two of my favourite wedding photography teams; The Crawleys and Lawsons. Their hands on, relaxed, fun approach to weddings has definitely given me a ton of ideas and inspiration to bring into 2017. So if you see me holding things in front of the camera or asking you to do odd things, go with it, it'll look great.
